In any emergency, call 911 immediately!

• How long has the Ashford Fire Department existed?

AVFD has been in operation since 1950.

• How much apparatus do you own?

The Town of Ashford owns 3 Engine-Tankers and a Rescue Truck. The Fire department owns an Ambulance and a service truck.

• Is there only one station?

No! In addition to our primary station on Route 89, we have a station on Old Town Road, at Lake Chaffee
